Giovani! quando tornate in italia per le vacanze? Sto organizzando una alley a Southampton per Sabato 19 Dicembre. Se venite vi ospito sul pavimento!

Sotonopoly is about knowing the city, and about riding your bike. It is about spending an afternoon outdoors and about having fun with your friends. It is a race, but the slowest of you will have fun as well!
We will meet at 1pm in the Common, in front of the Cowherds, but the race will not start until 2pm. You will receive a manifest, with a list of checkpoints scattered around the city, and some other tasks. You will have to reach the checkpoints and complete the tasks in the available time. You are allowed to ride with friends or alone. You can come with your foldable bicycle, or with your super cool, new carbon time trial piece of technology. It is completely up to you!
There will be a party at the end of the race, and also the non-racers will be welcome. So tell your friends to come and have fun with us! They can come to cheer you at the start, and to wait for you at the finish line. There will be music, drinks and general happy atmosphere! (just maybe think about bringing a change of clothes!)

VERY VERY IMPORTANT!!!

remember to bring
- a bicycle

- bicycle lights

- a map of the city and the surrounding area (as detailed as possible)

- 5£ for entry

- some sort of digital camera (your cell phone will do the job, if it has a camera).

Cash prizes for female and male podium will be provided!!

la domanda ti sembrerà strana ma.... in che condizioni sono le strade di southampton?

per venire da london e portarsi la bici in viaggio che me consigli?

Mi riferivo all'asfalto...illuminazione,buche e sconnessioni varie.

Quanto costa portare la bici in treno?

bici in treno gratis, e non bisogna neanche prenotare, o almeno non sui treni fra londra e southampton. Sfalto rugoso e con tratti sconnessi, ma comunque ciclabile. Tecnicamente solol'ultima parte di gara sara' con poca luce, visto che partiamo alle 2, ma le luci sono obbligatorie. quasi tutte le vie sono illuminate, quindi non ci dovrebbe essere problema

 per trovare i biglietti. Andata e ritorno in giorni consecutivi off peak diretto fra waterloo e southampton parrebbe essere 44 sterle. con megatrain parrebbero esserci buone offerte, quindi dai un'occhiata:

se vai in bus chiedi per la bici pero' che non te la buttano su cosi' a caso, mi pare che molte compagnie facciano pagare il sovrapprezzo per bagaglio extra-size, e devi pure inscatolarla, quindi morale della favola in treno ti conviene comunque
