Sotonopoly is about knowing the city, and about riding your bike. It is about spending an afternoon outdoors and about having fun with your friends. It is a race, but the slowest of you will have fun as well!

We will meet at 1pm in the Common, in front of the Cowherds, but the race will not start until 2pm. You will receive a manifest, with a list of checkpoints scattered around the city, and some other tasks. You will have to reach the checkpoints and complete the tasks in the available time. You are allowed to ride with friends or alone. You can come with your foldable bicycle, or with your super cool, new carbon time trial piece of technology. It is completely up to you!

There will be a party at the end of the race (at the Talking Heads, in Potswood Road

 ), and also the non-racers will be welcome. So tell your friends to come and have fun with us! They can come to cheer you at the start, and to wait for you at the finish line. There will be music, drinks and general happy atmosphere! (just maybe think about bringing a change of clothes!)

- a map of the city and the surrounding area (as detailed as possible)

- 5£ for entry

- some sort of digital camera (your cell phone will do the job, if it has a camera).
