"We are pleased to share with you, a special project we have been working on with Chas Christiansen and the team at Columbus/Cinelli. Enclosed are some details of our first Columbus steel frame set. This unique package is intended to cover a broad range of solutions with one bike. Chas travels heavily, racing alley cats, working as a messenger, racing cyclocross, so this bike was born from his diverse goals. The geo has a high bottom bracket, and is agressive in nature, but allowing for weight to be carried on the front rack, while feeling stable. The frame and fork have removable canto brake bosses, so the bike can be ridden as a clean fixed gear, or single speed cyclocross frame set, including internal cable routing for the rear brake. Both the frame and fork will clear 35c tires for dirt, or a smooth street cruiser. We kept a raw look, keeping the heated markings, and clear coating the steel, ultimately celebrating Columbus, of who we are proud to call family. Garrett Chow drew on the historical Cinelli and Columbus art archive to detail this frame set in a timeless way. tutto il mondo aspettava un cx in inox a 1600€

 

Ah ah ah è che quelli di Cinelli ormai partecipano alle cx singlespeed e sono costretti a rimanere al passo con la pornografia varia che gira a ste garette ;-)

 

Comunque Inox, disco, singlespeed o geared grazie ai forcellini scorrevoli, con pinza interna al triangolo posteriore e sterzo conico... basta chiedere a PiGi che se lo era fatto e se lo è pure fatto inculare e adesso se lo è rifatto! Inutile dire che era ed è una bici da sbavo... il prezzo non lo so ma per la cifra citata forse ci salta fuori la forca... forse...

la sella è montata al centro dei rails, anzi forse è un pelo arretrata a dire il vero

la concor light è più corta dietro e sembra sia avanzata.

 

io cmq le metto sempre un pelino avanzate le selle le sento più comode sui lunghi tragitti
